CBTL for medical equipment in Finland

In Finland, Nemko now has a CB Testing Laboratory (CBTL) being specialized in testing of medical equipment. The lab is located in the city of Tampere centrally in Finland. It is a part of the leading Finish multi-technological research institute VTT, and has both a wide scope and long experience in testing of medical equipment. Presently, Nemko has a total of 25 CBTLs operating within the international IECEE/CB scheme. Eight of these are qualified for testing of medical equipment and are ready to assist customers during the current launch of the 3rd edition of the standard IEC 60601-1, which imply important new requirements compared to the 2nd edition.
