Change in KCC certification system
KCC certification will use KC logo from January 1st 2011. Products certified before January 1st can use either the KCC logo or the KC logo. The new re-organized KCC certification system will be introduced January 24th.
Equipment that give lower radio interference hazards and lower harmful effects to personal safety and human body compared to the target equipment of conformity certification will be registered without KCC review and certificate issuance after being tested in a designated testing laboratory.
For equipment with limited scope of use, and that are used in particular fields, a self-testing registration system will be introduced where the materials are tested by the manufacturers themselves before being registered.
