On-site and/or Off-site
Nemko links the high accuracy laboratory calibrations to field calibrations and repair services. This approach provides the best conformance to the internationally accepted measurement requirements through local service.
- Nemko offers calibrations either off-site in Nemko laboratories and/or on-site at the client’s facilities.
- All the client’s calibrations can be incorporated into the calibration call system in order to minimize the disturbances in the client’s production or other processes.
- In addition to the calibration service Nemko maintains and repairs various kinds of measuring equipment and work tools.
On-site Calibration
On-site calibrations are agreed beforehand and implemented outside Nemko at the customer’s premises. The premises shall fulfill the requirements for the calibration work. Nemko links the high accuracy laboratory references to the field calibrations.
Customer equipment will be clarified for arranging calibrations according to the customer’s needs and Nemko´s on-site process.
The process includes the following:
- The customer will deliver equipment to a stand-by buffer according to Nemko’s calibration instructions.
- Nemko shall deliver the calibrated equipment to a ready buffer from which the customer puts it back into operation.
- Equipment that cannot be calibrated, e.g. due to faults, will be delivered to the Nemko laboratory or a supplier for repairing.
Before starting the calibrations on-site, Nemko will check the reference equipment in the laboratory and again at the customer’s premises. Re-check shall be done also after the reference equipment has been returned to the Nemko laboratory.
Off-site Calibration
Nemko laboratories also offer off-site calibrations at well-appointed premises using traceable reference equipment and highly educated staff. Nemko has a special call system to manage the customer calibrations.
Nemko´s call system is directly connected to the user of the equipment so that the most suitable date can be chosen for cost-effective and fast delivery of the calibration service. In addition, Nemko´s calibration specialists will be in contact with the customer during the calibration whenever needed.
