Types of Calibrations
Before calibration the measuring instrument is cleaned and checked for the need to change batteries, tighten connectors and so on.
- Standard calibration covers the complete specified range.
- Smart calibration is customized including only selected measuring points.
- Accredited calibration fulfills the requirements for calibration according EN ISO/IEC 17025. Accredited calibration can be customized as well.
- Calibration can be customized also according to other quality requirements.
Standard calibration consists of the following:
- Calibration and test for compliance with a given specification.
- Adjustment when the measuring instrument does not comply with the specification.
- Either written evidence or a calibration certificate.
- Written evidence states the compliance or non-compliance. Measurement results are included only in cases of non-compliance or when adjustment is performed.
- Calibration certificate includes the measurement results and states the compliance or non-compliance.
- Measurement results are reported either for each measurement or each measurement including pre-adjustment data.
- Records of the calibration evidence or certificate and measuring results are stored for 10 years.
- Labeling as calibrated and sealing.
- Accredited to EN ISO/IEC 17025 - Nemko Oy and Nemko SpA Accreditations 1 and Accreditations 2
