For many products, EMC emission testing is also required by a laboratory recognized by the US Federal Communication Commission (FCC) or Industry Canada (IC), such as Nemko.

The facilities for Nemko’s EMC Services for conducted and radiated emissions are listed by the FCC for CFR 47 Part 15 and Part 18 testing.

This ensures that test reports documenting tests performed at our test sites are accepted during FCC approval in the USA. (FCC approval is for wireless products, not just for products subject to EMC testing)

Nemko has been recognized for the following scopes:

  • FCC certification scopes, A1-A4 for low power unlicensed devices
  • FCC Certification scopes, B1-B4 for licensed transmitters
  • FCC Certification scope, C for Telecommunications Terminal Equipment
