For the US and Canada, EMC emission testing is required by a laboratory recognized by the US Federal Communication Commission (FCC) or Industry Canada (IC).

Nemko’s EMC testing sites for conducted and radiated emissions are listed by the FCC for the standards CFR 47 Part 15 and Part 18 testing and likewise by the IC.

This ensures that EMC test reports from our test sites are accepted in both the USA and Canada. This applies for both wireless products and products subject to EMC testing

Nemko has been recognized for the following scopes:

  • FCC Certification scopes, A1-A4 for low power unlicensed devices
  • FCC Certification scopes, B1-B4 for licensed transmitters
  • FCC Certification scope, C for telecommunications terminal equipment
