PEFC – Chain of Custody

Pan European Forest Certification (PEFC) – Chain of Custody (CoC), is a program to ensure that wood materials used in various products is coming from environmentally certified forests.

PEFC ensures the following:

  • Assurance to purchases of wood and paper products that they are promoting the sustainable management of forests

How does the Certification Process Work?

Initial certification audit will verify that the requirements of the PEFC CoC are met.

Based on this a certificate with a three years validity is issued. Yearly surveillance audits will be conducted.
