Radio Equipment Certification
Nemko has been recognized for the following scopes:
- Category I Radio Standards Specification (RSS) for Canada
These scopes provide Nemko the ability to certify the majority of wireless products in accordance with the Industry Canada RSS’s.
Common types of products certified by Nemko include:
- WiFi
- Bluetooth
- WiMax
- Cellular/PCS
- Amplifiers
- Repeaters
Successful testing and certification by Nemko will allow manufacturers to mark their products with an IC Certification number and sell in the Canadian market place.
In addition to having your testing performed at Nemko, test reports can be accepted from laboratories that have been qualified by Nemko Canada to the requirements of ISO 17025. Witness testing is also an option.
