Telecom and Radio Certification Schemes for Hong Kong

As of April 29, 2008, Nemko Canada Inc has been recognized by the Office of the Telecommunications Authority (OFTA) of Hong Kong, China, to issue Certifications on Telecommunications Products within our scope of recognition.

The recognition has been made possible through the provisions of the APEC TEL Mutual Recognition Arrangement between Canada and Hong Kong, China. Nemko Canada has become the first non-domestic Certification Body for certifying products to OFTA regulations.

Our scope of recognition includes the following:

  • Low Power devices (RFID, Spread spectrum etc)
  • PSTN equipment
  • ISDN equipment
  • Land Mobile Radio equipment

Testing shall be performed by an OFTA recognized testing laboratory.
