Pre-testing by Nemko in an early stage of the product development is useful for identifying non-conformities before the product is actually completed.

Nemko will evaluate the product during the design stage to identify any issues that may cause it to fail testing later on.

  • Critical parts of the product are tested at an early stage to check if the product is likely to pass when completed.
  • Pre-testing helps customers to make sure that their product development is on the right track. For example, EMC requirements versus electrical design or testing to determine the safety of the product.

Investments in pre-testing will save both time and money in the future. Also, if a product passes the pre-testing the results from the tests can be used in the next stages and as a basis for certification. If the product does not pass the pre-testing, the manufacturer can change the critical parts early, before the product is put into development.
