This recognition allows Nemko Canada to certify telecommunications products to US wireless and wireline equipment standards.
Nemko has been recognized for the following scopes:
- FCC Certification scopes, A1-A4 for low power unlicensed devices
- FCC Certification scopes, B1-B4 for licensed transmitters
- FCC Certification scope, C for Telecommunications Terminal Equipment
These scopes provide Nemko with the ability to certify the majority of wireless and wireline products in accordance with the FCC rules.
Common types of products certified by Nemko include:
- WiFi
- Bluetooth
- WiMax
- Cellular/PCS
- Amplifiers/repeaters
- PSTN equipment
- xDSL routers
Successful testing and certification by Nemko will allow manufacturers to mark their products with a FCC ID for wireless equipment or an ACTA registration number for wireline equipment and to sell in the USA.
In addition to having your testing performed at Nemko, test reports, can be accepted from laboratories that have been qualified by Nemko Canada to the requirements of ISO 17025. Witness testing is also an option.
