Surging Demand for Cybersecurity Training in Industry

With cyber-crime on the rise and new threats constantly emerging, it can seem difficult or even impossible to manage cyber-risks. This is apparently a realization which causes industry to seek relevant training in cyber security, including for compliance with regulatory requirements. The following two recent training events are examples of this.

- In-person cybersecurity seminar by Nemko Korea
On 7 August Nemko Korea successfully held a cybersecurity seminar at its Yongin headquarters for its clients. The event was organized to help companies navigate the challenges of an ever-changing global regulatory environment and to deepen their understanding of the latest technologies and standards. Amongst the topics covered were developments in European cybersecurity requirements and security testing of real cases.

With over 60 industry professionals in attendance, the seminar drew an unusually large audience for an in-house event, underscoring the growing interest in cybersecurity.

- Live cyber security webinar by Nemko Norway
On 21 August Nemko Norway arranged a live cybersecurity webinar where record breaking more than 400 representatives of industry were registered to attend, which too shows the growing interest in cybersecurity. The webinar was titled “What You Need to Know” and was focused on both the European Cyber Resilience Act and Radio Equipment Directive. The new addition to the latter, which from 1 August requires documented cyber security for CE-marking of internet connected wireless equipment, is probably a reason for the overwhelming interest this time. Recordings from the webinar is available on-demand from
