Belarus implements requirements for energy efficiency certification and labelling
From 1 September this year, Energy Efficiency (EE) requirements will be mandatory in Belarus for external power supplies and electrical motors.
For other electrical products, the implementation date will be 1 July next year.
More information may be seen here .
Hence, from the above mentioned dates, in addition to regional EAC certificate for electrical safety and EMC, Energy Efficiency Certificate must be available for import and marketing of electrical/electronic products to Belarus. This will be checked at the border by customs and on the market too.
For certain products, also energy labelling will be required.
The technical requirements are in this case harmonized with the EU requirements for energy efficiency.
Nemko’s Belarus partner BELLIS is nationally accredited to issue such certificates.
