Honored by commendations from Korean authorities.

When the Korea Telecommunication Testing Laboratory Association (KOTTA) recently held its General Assembly in Seoul, it was combined with the CEO Meeting of Designated Testing Laboratories. The event brought together key stakeholders from the
information and communication technology (ICT) industry and its testing and certification sector to share insights on industry trends and discuss future directions for collaboration and development.

At the event, Nemko Korea was honored with a commendation from the Minister of Science and & ICT), “..in recognition of its dedicated service and outstanding contributions, particularly to the advancement and enhancement of conformity assessment and testing services”. On behalf of Nemko Korea, the General Manager, Mr. Seungin Yang, received the ministerial commendation.

This award is taken to represent official recognition of Nemko Korea’s continued efforts to strengthen the reliability of Korea’s ICT testing and certification framework and to enhance testing capabilities in line with international standards. Amid the rapid evolution of ICT technologies, the commitment to delivering accurate, impartial, and high-quality testing services is by the authorities regarded as an important contribution to the overall competitiveness of the national industry.

Notably, this is not the first time Nemko Korea has received a ministerial award. In 2023, equivalent commendation was received from the Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy. As a testing laboratory, receiving such ministerial commendations further underscores Nemko Korea’s position as a trusted and highly regarded testing and certification organization being recognized by multiple government authorities, and clearly are inspirations for Nemko Korea to continue leveraging its technical expertise and global testing and certification network to support domestic industries, promote a safe and reliable ICT environment, and fulfill its role as a trusted partner in the ICT industry.
