Successful 2024 KIMES in Seoul

                                                                                                                                                                                                                       

The annual Korea International Medical & Hospital Equipment Show (KIMES) took place 14-17 March in Seoul, at the COEX Convention & Exhibition Center.
This exhibition was co-hosted by Korea E&X, Korea Medical Device Cooperative, and Korea Medical Device Industry Association, and showed significant results in many areas, including the size of participating companies, number of visitors, and extent of export prospects.

It is evaluated as an exhibition that serves as a bridgehead for the overseas expansion of domestic companies, trends in medical device and IT technology convergence, and the current and future direction of AI.
About 1,350 domestic and foreign manufacturers participated in the exhibition, introducing over 35,000 items including the convergence of medical devices, hospital equipment, medical information systems, healthcare and rehabilitation devices, and medical-related supplies. Nemko took part with a quite sizeable booth, presenting its testing-, certification- and market access services for and related to the medical device industry, which resulted in many promising contacts and business opportunities.

The exhibition occupied the entire COEX exhibition hall and lobby with a total area of nearly 50,000 m2. 
Over the four days, in total more than 70,000 domestic and foreign visitors, including more than 4,000 overseas buyers, visited the exhibition booths and enjoyed various linkages and side events including seminars and academic conferences, 
 
This time, the MedicomteK 2024 (Medical Device Components & Materials Technology Exhibition) was held in parallel, reflecting the growing interest in cutting-edge parts and materials as the scope of the medical industry expands through convergence with new technologies, attracting the attention of visitors.
 
With this exhibition, Nemko Korea is looking forward to new opportunities in the expanding market spectrum for medical devices.
