The next step in Wi-Fi evolution: FCC Title 47 Part 15 Subpart E, WiFi 6E

Article: Rules of FCC Title 47 Part 15 Subpart E

Wi-Fi 6E, the next step in Wi-Fi evolution, has been developed with the goal of ensuring worldwide adoption and interoperability. With this new technology comes an element called the Automated Frequency Coordination (AFC) System, which automatically determines and provides lists of frequencies that are available for use by standard power access points operating in the 5.925-6.425 GHz and 6.525-6.875 GHz bands.

This new development is exciting for both consumers and businesses alike, but it will require additional testing that not all FCC-approved labs have yet completed. Download our article to learn more about the requirements in detail.
