Annual customer seminar in Norway resumed

                                                                                                                                                                                       

Already in 1995 Nemko arranged its first annual customer seminar in Norway. Every year thereafter, it has attracted numerous representatives from major manufacturers worldwide to be updated about compliance requirements and global market access conditions for their electrical and electronic products. 
Due to the Corona pandemic, it could, however, not be arranged in the years 2021 and 2022, but was this year resumed successfully. It took place on 12th and 13th June at the Radisson RED hotel in Oslo and was thereby the 26th such customer seminar. 
This year, there were more than 70 participants from 42 different companies in 15 countries worldwide, representing major producers of electrical and electronic products, and also some of Nemko’s overseas partners. 
During the two days, 19 presentations were given by distinguished external speakers and Nemko experts.

Among the highlights were:
-Compliance of IoT products with wireless integration regulations
-Compliance with the European cyber security requirements
-How battery technology will influence manufacturers of electrical products
-How to navigate the multiple editions of the Hazard-based standard for IT- and audio/video equipment
-Product sustainability documentation for the new eco-design requirements
-Steps needed for successful global market access

According to feedback from the participants, both the professional and social programs were highly appreciated.
