    Moving towards a greener future with Nemko's testing scheme for Electrical Energy Storage systems

    • Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
      This phase ensures that the EES system meets all specified requirements and functions correctly before it is shipped to the client's site. This allows the vendor to correct any issues onsite with all the necessary technical resources available, which in turn helps to control the project timeline and budget. It also safeguards against potential issues that can occur at the final installation site and improves the final product's overall quality before commisioning and operation. 

    • Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
      Once installed in its final destination, this phase of testing validates that the EES system operates as intended within its designated environment. It ensures that the system is properly integrated with other systems for smooth operation and complies with all relevant regulations and interconnection requirements, such as safety, performance, and reliability standards. 

      From confirming system integration to verifying compliance with safety standards, SATs are crucial in minimizing operational risks and ensuring long-term reliability.
