I am the manager for both the Testing & Certification Team and Safety Group.

How did you choose this career path?
I majored in electrical engineering at university, and I was interested in electric/electronic safety regulation.

What do you enjoy most about your job at Nemko?
I enjoy it when our certified product is finally produced in the market and gets to be safely used by the end user.

Are there any challenges that you’ve faced during your career that have taught you important lessons?
The product being tested must receive the exact test and evaluation needed, according to the standard. To ensure that we are avoiding causing the user damage.

What do you think the industry will look like in 20 years?
I think there will be more automatic or intelligent products that will be developed without user manual operation.

What do you find most rewarding about your role?
When the customer product is properly certified according to the standards and the customer is satisfied with our certification service.

What are some market trends you’re keeping an eye on?
I am keeping a watch on energy efficiency, cyber security, and intelligent product which then needs software evaluation.

When not working, how do you spend your spare time?
In my spare time, I enjoy going Walking and Climbing, and I also enjoy golfing.
