On-demand webinar: Cyber security updates in Europe
Watch this on-demand webinar to get the latest updates about the mandatory cyber security requirements in Europe.
From August 2024, wireless products will need to document cyber security compliance in Europe for CE-marking and sales. This is a consequence of the new requirements in the radio equipment directive (RED).
There is a misconception in the market that companies can sit on the fence until 2024. The implementation date of August 2024 means that all products must be able to document their compliance by that date, including products already on the market. For products on the market and products in development, manufacturers must take action now and ensure their cyber security compliance, so they don't run the risk of having their products withdrawn from the market in 2024.
But how and when should the manufacturers start?
We think a good first step is to start with this webinar recording. You will gain a better understanding of the most relevant cyber security standards and the road map you can follow to ensure you will have the documentation in place before the implementation date. We will also look at some recent updates in the cyber security world and how you can use our free online self-assessment tool to understand the level of readiness your company have to deal with cyber security issues!
The webinar covers:
- Cybersecurity in Europe and the quest for “Security by Design.”
- Cybersecurity of RED and Cyber Resilience Act, with updates
- Are my products affected by these regulations, what’s in and out of scope?
- Not only Europa – a glimpse of cyber requirements globally
- Technical: some typical shortcomings of products on the market today
- A practical approach for compliance and Nemko online self-assessment
