Welcome to the Nemko Christmas Calendar 2020

Nemko is celebrating getting cyber security into our scope and would like to welcome you to the Nemko pre-Christmas quiz and the chance to win yourself a Christmas gift.

All weekdays of December we will publish a short video on a topic from the cyber world, with questions for you to answer on the comment field of LinkedIn.

We will talk about topics like; how is a computer virus similar to a corona virus, what is a “worm”, what is the “dark web” and how to secure your password.

Cyber space is a wonderful place with unlimited access to knowledge and entertainment. We work there, find information there, and keep in touch with our friends and loved ones.

But it also comes with challenges in the form of various cybercrimes. Did you know that millions of internet accounts are being hacked – every single day?

The aim of this informal pre-Christmas activity is to give you quick and simple insights in some common risks and how to reduce those risks – like how to reduce the risk of being hacked by 99.9%. It is not even difficult!

Find today´s question by choosing the date below.

The rules are very simple: submit your answer in the comment field on LinkedIn. One correct answer will be drawn every morning and the winner gets an exclusive Nemko cup.

On Christmas Eve the main prize - an IoT product - is drawn among all previous answers. This means you can have several “tickets” in the main draw if answering all questions.

Nemko employees are referred to an internal draw.
