Nemko Korea's New Location: Enhancing Testing Facilities and Services

                                                                                                                                                                                       

Nemko Korea has during September moved to a new location, which is still in the Yong-in area, about 40 km from Seoul.
It includes a brand-new office building, consisting of three floors. With a total area of 5,619m², it is about twice the size of the previous facility and has room for more than 100 employees.

The new facility will provide a more pleasant service environment for both the employees and the customers.

Major investments in test facilities at the new location includes:
- Addition of a 10-meter EMC testing chamber.
- Addition of facilities for both safety-, EMC- and energy testing of commercial refrigerators. 
- Expansion of wireless device test equipment and facilities.
- Addition of a test facility for SAR (Specific Absorption Rate).

​​​​​Some of the larger EMC testing facilities at the former location, including the 10-meter chamber, is still being kept in operation for the time being. Transfer of all equipment and facilities are planned to be completed in 2024.
