Define your role within Nemko.
My role within Nemko is an International Approvals project manager with RF/Wireless expertise. I have over 15 years of experience in Wireless and EMC  compliance testing and have performed testing according to various global standards.

How did you choose this career path?
While I was in high school, I decided I wanted to major in electronics. I started working in the T.I.C. industry in 2004 when one of my high school buddies asked me if I wanted to join the test lab he was working at and I thought: why not, let’s try it out. That is how I got into the compliance world. Over the course of my career, I have held various wireless and EMC  positions with my longest being here at Nemko as an International Approvals project manager with RF/Wireless expertise.

What do you enjoy most about your job at Nemko?
What I enjoy most about my job at Nemko are the collaborations I get to have with people on a daily basis. There is so much mutual support and knowledge within Nemko that I always find myself learning something new.

What do you think the industry will look like in 20 years?
Over the past two years, COVID has impacted everyone globally and in every type of industry. In 20 years, I believe Artificial Intelligence will be everywhere. There will be less human factor involved in decision making.

What do you find most rewarding about your role?
One of the most rewarding parts about this job is being able to help our customers get their products to market in a timely manner. We strive to provide the best customer experience possible.

What are some market trends you’re keeping an eye on?
I’m keeping an eye on battery development and autonomous driving. I think we’ll be seeing a lot of development in the next few years.

When not working, how do you spend your spare time?
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending my time with my family.
