CNCA: 9 types of Products no longer implementing CCC certification

The China National Certification Administration (CNCA) has announced that it will no longer implement compulsory product certification (CCC) for nine types of electronic and electrical products.

Following the guidance from State Council office notice [2022] No. 31, CNCA announced below:

1. The CCC certification management will no longer be implemented for nine kinds of electronic and electrical products with low safety risk and relatively mature technology.
2. Delete these products from the "Compulsory Product Certification Implementation Rules for Audio and Video Equipment" (CNCA-C08-01: 2014) and "Compulsory Product Certification Implementation Rules for Telecommunications Terminal Equipment" (CNCA-C16-01: 2014). Cancel "Compulsory Product Certification Implementation Rules for Burglar Alarm Products" (CNCA-C19-01:2014).
3. The accreditations in relation to these nine kinds of products will be canceled from designated testing labs and CABs.
4. Designated certification bodies and laboratories shall stop relevant product CCC certification and corresponding testing activities and cancel the issued CCC certification according to regulations.
