Seamlessly Introduce Your Products into the Customs Union Market

The Customs Union — now referred to as the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) — consists of the Russian Federation, Belarus, and Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan, and was established to ensure production quality, simplify distribution, eliminate complex procedures and additional taxes, and create new business opportunities for regional manufacturers.

In order for a manufacturer to gain entrance into the Customs Union, they must demonstrate compliance and provide the necessary documentation and certifications that indicate their equipment meets the stringent safety standards set by the Customs Union.

The TR-CU Certificate of Conformity proves that the imported products are in compliance with the standards set within the Customs Union, and also meets both the quality and safety standards. The certification can be issued for either a batch of goods or a production series, and there are both mandatory and voluntary certifications. Depending on the situation, a registered manufacturer declaration may also be required.

Currently, there are twenty-two technical regulations for members of the Customs Union. Each of these Technical Regulations are supported by GOST-Rs — the current technical and safety regulations required within the Russian market — and other standards depending on product-specific regulations and testing methods already in use.

    The most common certificates include:

    • TR-CU Certificate of Conformity
    • TR-CU Declaration of Conformity
    • State Registration
    • Fire Safety Certification
    • Justification of Safety
    • GOST-R Certificate of Conformity
    • GOST-R Declaration of Conformity
    • Technical Passport
    • Exemption Letters
